While scrolling Instagram one day, I saw a post from a lady travel blogger saying, “This Holi in Sangla – a very famous traditional Holi celebration and safe for women.” That instantly made me think of celebrating Holi somewhere different with my wife and my 3-year-old daughter, because every year Holi at home with just a few people never felt very exciting. I started researching on Google and Instagram, comparing different travel packages for Sangla Holi, and finally came across Travel Coffee through Google. When I spoke to their travel coordinator, the conversation felt genuine. They even allowed my daughter to travel free of cost and gave an additional discount on my request. Still, paying a ₹10,000 advance to someone found online made me nervous because nowadays we hear many digital fraud stories. But since I really wanted this trip, I took the risk. Until the Delhi-Shimla bus ticket confirmation arrived on 28th February, I was honestly a bit worried. Now, after completing the Kalpa–Sangla–Chitkul trip and sitting at Delhi Junction waiting for my train home, I can confidently say the experience was far better than expected. The planning, transport and stay arrangements were smooth and comfortable. Experiencing the traditional Holi (Fagli) celebration in Sangla and visiting Chitkul, the last village near the Indo-Tibetan border, were unforgettable highlights. A special thanks to Shubham Bhai (owner of Travel Coffee) and his team who stayed with us throughout the journey. They behaved less like tour operators and more like friends travelling with us. The biggest surprise was that my wife, who rarely gets satisfied easily, was extremely happy with the entire journey and even insisted that I write this review. Exploring Spiti Valley in winter was always on our bucket list, but we were also a little nervous about the weather and road conditions. Travel Coffee planned the entire trip very professionally. Kalpana guided us from the first call itself and clearly explained what to expect in winter Spiti, from cold temperatures to road conditions and stay options. The driver was excellent and made us feel completely safe even on snow-covered stretches. The stays were much better than what we expected in such remote winter locations, and the food was also comforting. This was not just a trip, it was an experience of a lifetime. If anyone is planning winter Spiti, Travel Coffee is definitely a reliable team to go with.

We had booked a customised Kinnaur and Spiti trip with Travel Coffee and the experience was wonderful from start to finish. Preeti helped us plan the itinerary in a very practical way, covering Narkanda, Sangla, Chitkul, Kalpa, Kaza and Chandratal without making the journey too hectic. She explained the route clearly before the trip and was always available during the journey. The hotels selected for us were comfortable and had beautiful views, especially in Kalpa and Kaza. Our driver was polite, punctual and very confident on the difficult mountain roads. Overall, it was a beautifully managed Himalayan trip. We (a group of 4 men in 20s) recently booked a trip (Spiti Half Circuit: 7D/6N) through this travel company and overall had a really smooth and well-organized experience.
