Your hotel sits in the lake area, so the evening is on your doorstep. Head out in the late afternoon for the Lake Pichola boat ride, when the City Palace catches the best light and you drift past Jag Mandir, the little island palace out on the water. Landing on the island is only included if your voucher says so. From the jetty it is a short walk to Bagore Ki Haveli for the Dharohar show, an hour of Rajasthani folk dance and puppetry. Then take your pick of the rooftops for dinner. Reach the city by 2 pm and nothing feels rushed.

Same day help depends on availability and venue rules, so limited seat, fixed time or sold out experiences cannot be guaranteed on the day
- The hotel sits in the lake area near Lake Pichola or Fateh Sagar. A lake view room is included only when that exact room category is confirmed in your quotation and hotel voucher, so please confirm the room category before booking
- City Palace needs two to three hours and a fair amount of walking. Wear comfortable shoes
- The old city lanes are narrow. Your cab drops you at the nearest walking point for Gangaur Ghat and Bagore Ki Haveli, the rest is a short walk
- Sajjangarh has a separate vehicle charge for the hill road, payable there
- Bagore Ki Haveli show seats are limited and fill up in season. We pre book your tickets, reach 15 minutes early for good seats
- Activities are subject to weather, water levels, operating schedules, ticket availability and local authority instructions. If an included activity cannot operate, we will first try to reschedule it within your trip. If that is not possible, the applicable activity component will be refunded or adjusted with your approval. Tickets already issued may be non-refundable under the supplier's policy

This is a private tour with your own cab and driver, no sharing of your vehicle and no fixed departure dates, so you can start on any day that works for you. The general sightseeing flow can be adjusted around your preferences, while pre booked activities, attraction timings, temple timings and venue operating hours stay fixed. Do note that the boat ride and the folk show are shared experiences alongside other visitors.
Is the Lake Pichola boat ride really included in the price?
Yes, and so is the Bagore Ki Haveli folk show. Most operators sell both as extras at the counter. We include them because they are the two things nobody should miss in Udaipur, and because we would rather you know the full cost before you book.
Are 2 nights enough for Udaipur?
For the city itself, yes. This itinerary covers every major sight without rushing. If you also want Kumbhalgarh Fort and the Ranakpur Jain temples, take our 3 nights 4 days tour instead, the extra day exists exactly for that excursion.

What is the best time to visit Udaipur?
October to March has pleasant days and cool evenings and is the main season. July to September is the quiet alternative, the lakes are full, the hills turn green and hotel rates drop. April to June is hot, workable only if you plan mornings and evenings.
Why are monument entry fees not included?
Entry fees change and differ for Indian and foreign visitors, so we keep them out and you pay the current gate price rather than a marked up one. We share the current rates with your itinerary.
Can Travel Coffee arrange attraction tickets?
Yes. Our team can arrange eligible attraction tickets before travel or assist with eligible same day bookings where tickets are available and the venue allows online or advance purchase. Any unavoidable booking charge will be disclosed before payment. You may also purchase standard tickets directly at the official counter. Limited seat, fixed time or sold out experiences may not be available on the same day.
Can we add a candlelight dinner for a special occasion?
Yes, a candlelight dinner can be arranged as an add on. Tell us at the time of booking and we will confirm the setup and share the cost upfront. If you are hoping for couple photos, the old city ghats and Sajjangarh at golden hour are lovely spots for your own shots, a photoshoot is not part of the package.
Does the pickup work for trains as well as flights?
Yes. We pick up and drop at Udaipur airport or Udaipur City railway station, whichever your plan uses. Share your arrival time and the driver will be waiting.
Can we do this trip with kids or parents?
Comfortably. The pace is easy, drives are short and the only real walking is inside City Palace. Tell us if anyone needs a slower pace and we will adjust the day plans.
