We begin the trip in Delhi in the evening, where you board your overnight Volvo to Manali. Settle into your seat, rest well, and let the city slowly fade away behind you. By the time you wake up, the flat plains have given way to green hills, and the first views of Himachal are right outside your window.

- This is a lower Lahaul trip, not a full Spiti tour, so it stays comfortable and easy to enjoy for most kinds of travellers
- The Jispa stay is at its best from late spring to autumn. In the colder months, camp stays may be swapped for the best available hotel or indoor option
- Weather in Sissu and Jispa can change fast, especially early in the season and just after the monsoon
- Drive timings, stops, and the order of sightseeing may change based on traffic at the Atal Tunnel, the weather, and any local advisories
- Please carry warm clothes in every season. Mornings and nights stay cold even when the days feel pleasant
- Mobile network can be weak in parts of Lahaul, and there are fewer ATMs than in Manali, so it helps to carry some cash
- There is mountain road travel on this trip, but the route is far easier and gentler than the longer Spiti circuits

Jispa gives the trip a much better ending. It adds a deeper Lahaul feel and a quiet night by the river, which makes the whole trip more special than a plain Sissu only package.
Is this trip suitable for families and couples?
Yes. This is one of the easiest offbeat Himachal trips for both couples and families. The route is scenic and easy to manage, without the tiring long days of a high altitude tour.
Will we see snow on this trip?
Snow depends on the month you travel, the recent weather, and the road conditions at the time. Early in the season and in the colder months, you may see patches of snow or snow covered viewpoints. Even so, we cannot promise snow, as it depends fully on the timing of your trip.
Is the Jispa camp stay available throughout the year?
Not always. The camps and dome stays run only in certain seasons. In the colder months, we move the Jispa night to the best available hotel or indoor stay in the area.
Is this better than visiting Sissu as a day trip from Manali?
Yes, by a long way. A day trip only lets you scratch the surface. Staying two nights in Sissu and adding a night in Jispa makes the whole trip calmer, more scenic, and a lot more enjoyable.
How difficult is the altitude on this route?
This route is easy for most travellers because it stays in lower Lahaul and does not go as high or as deep as a Spiti tour. We still suggest drinking enough water and taking it slow, but the altitude here is quite comfortable.

- Payment for your booking can be made in multiple parts.
- Once your first payment is received, you'll get an official email confirmation with your booking summary.
- After completing 100% payment, your final Travel Coffee voucher will be issued — containing hotel details, transport arrangements, inclusions, and emergency contact information.
- Please double-check traveller names, ID proofs, and travel dates before confirming the booking.
Refund Policy
- Eligible refunds will be processed within 10 business days of approval.
- Refunds are credited to your original payment method or Travel Coffee wallet, as applicable.
- Refund timelines may vary if third-party suppliers (like hotels or transport partners) are involved.
- Convenience fees, taxes, and gateway charges are non-refundable.
Cancellation Policy
- 30 days or more before travel: 25% of total booking cost charged as cancellation fees.
- 15 to 29 days before travel: 50% of total booking cost charged as cancellation fees.
- Within 14 days of travel: 100% of total booking cost charged as cancellation fees.
- No-show or last-minute cancellations (after trip start) are non-refundable.
- In case of weather disruptions, government restrictions, strikes, or other force-majeure events, alternate arrangements will be offered whenever possible. However, cash refunds are not available in such scenarios.
Payment Term Policy
- A minimum 25–50% advance payment is required at the time of booking to block your slots.
- The remaining balance must be cleared at least 30 days before travel for domestic trips and 45 days before for international trips.
- Last-minute bookings (within 10 days) require 100% upfront payment at confirmation.
- All payments must be made only via official Travel Coffee channels (links, UPI, or bank accounts) listed on our website. Payments made to personal accounts or unofficial representatives are not recognised by Travel Coffee.
