- Weekend/festival traffic can add 45–90 minutes; buffers are built into the pacing
- Good-grip shoes for Chalal/Kutla; warm/waterproof layers in winter
- Network is good in Bir/Manali; patchy beyond Barshaini/Tosh; limited ATMs—carry cash
- Head covering required at Manikaran Gurudwara; follow hot-spring rules
- Arrive 30 minutes early for Volvo boarding with valid photo ID
Frequently Asked Questions
Is paragliding included?
Yes—one tandem flight is included (standard altitude, pilot, safety gear). Day 3 AM is a backup weather window.
What if winds cancel both fly windows?
We’ll attempt re-accommodation within the trip or assist a refund/credit per vendor policy.
Can we switch the overnight Volvo back to an extra hill night?
Yes—choose the Kasol extra night upgrade and return privately next morning (added cost).
Is Atal Tunnel/Sissu guaranteed?
Only if roads and weather permit. If closed, we keep you around Solang or re-sequence.
How hard is the Kutla hike?
Moderate (60–90 min one way from Tosh). Fit beginners can do it with grip shoes; you can skip and enjoy cafés instead.
